"This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us. "

"For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. "Great for Eurostar as it’s at the end of the station easy to find, room in good condition, didn’t have breakfast due to being 30 euro each extra, bit pricy for Continental type of breakfast. "

"Very nice hotel. Rooms very luxurious and come with deep bathtub, small fridge, safe and coffee machine. Takes a while for the hot water to heat up. "

"Lovely hotel out in the middle of nowhere like staying in the countryside. We did go at the height of summer so really hot and no A/C did cause problems because room was two levels and heat rises. But restaurant and breakfast both were nice and good atmosphere."
