Really like the ambiance and the breakfast that is included in the room price.

The hotel is located at a very good spot in town, the staff i met was very professional and cheerful, and communicated clearly. The bed was so comfy

A very unique restored hotel. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was super helpful! Easy parking

Very central, lots of food! Staff friendly and helpful.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. The room was a little small, but the price wasn't outrageous. The location was close to downtown shopping and public transportation. Reduced-price parking was nice, but spots were taken pretty quickly, depending on the time of day. Overall, I will recommend it to others.

I would like to recommend this place to anyone who want to experience something more than just another ordinary hotel! You will find a really cool attraction as well as a great nights sleep in one of the former prison cells. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is beautifully restored and has an amazing vibe! Breakfast was average, but extra pluss though for friendly and helpful staff in the kitchen. There is also a nice little museum which contributes to the experience.

Clean comfortable room, quiet. Good breakfast. We were there for Umefolk fest, very convenient.

This hotel was an easy-in/easy-out and had good parking. The beds were lovely after a long day of travel and the breakfast buffet was nicely done with a wide variety of foods.

Marcus, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and sitting on the verandah overlooking the water was peaceful. The room was basic but comfortable and clean.

Hotel was exactly what I wanted. Clean, centrally located, friendly staff and quiet. The breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

Warm, thoughtful staff!!!

The hotel really did feel like home. The staff universally attentive and cheerful. The food was surprisingly good and plentiful. We liked it there.

This was a great hotel for our stay in Umea. Great breakfast buffet, very helpful staff, roomy room, sauna and workout room available, great central location to use as base for exploring area.

great stay, staff very helpful

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do not have a breakfast buffet, but you can buy meat & cheese sandwiches or yogurt & granola cups or other items. The most challenging thing for us was figuring out how to get to the parking lot behind the hotel. There are a lot of one way streets, so we got confused but finally figured it out.
