It's a quiet little hotel in a very noisy beach town. No TV, good AC. Good curtains to block both noise and lights when we need to rest. Sparkling pool. You fix your own coffee, there is a common use kitchen with essentials to store, fix your own eating habits, clean after you use any utensils.

We stayed in the Zipolite Suite and enjoyed it. The staff were nice and friendly and the meals in the restaurant were very good. Lounging at the pool for a day was a treat. It is a nice area, easy to access.

Wonderful property with an excellent restaurant. All staff helpful. 15 min to historic district and 45 min to airport with minimal traffic. Nice Park across the street for walking or excercise.

Visited for the first time. Seems like a new property and -let me tell you- the views are absolutely stunning! The pictures DO NOT do it justice. The rooms are much, much nicer in person. Easy to get there and, lastly, dont forget to try the shrimp tacos, trust me

The rooms are cozy and have a great vibe, making it easy to settle in and relax. We loved the short walk to the beach. The breakfast here was by far the best in Puerto Escondido—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to each day. The staff is friendly and makes everything feel effortless, from check-in to local tips. It’s a hidden gem for anyone wanting a chill getaway with easy beach access.

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. Beautiful room, grounds, and just 20 yards from a beach tiki bar/outdoor restaurant. The best stop on my 26 day, 10 hotel trip!

The best service I’ve ever had in a hotel - anywhere. My husband and I arrived sick - they literally walked us to our room, called doctors, brought us water and bread (the only thing we could keep down), and frequently checked on us. We healed quickly with their help. Another plus - individually controlled AC. We were able to have a very cold room to heal and relax in. Also get the rooftop massages, book in advance.

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep. I wouldn't recommend this place though if you have difficulty walking...

Great staff, I booked via Expedia for 6 adults and 2 children ages 14 and 15, Expedia didn’t notify me that this Hostel only have guest 18 and older. When we got to the hostel after walking under the heavy rain with our heavy luggage, we were notified they don’t take people under 18 yrs of age. We highly recommend this hotel!! Our stay at Palacio Borghese was great! The location is extremely convenient and walkable! Just steps from the wonderful Santo Domingo church! Beautiful property. Only feedback is that the water pressure and shower drainage is not great. If you maximize the shower head there will be a ton of water overflow in your bathroom. Other than that, this place is amazing.

Rooms are amazing - modern, clean, spacious and stylish. We got a room with private balcony that had a hammock and 2 chairs. The view to the ocean was great too - we could actually see the ocean from our bed! But it seems like not all the rooms get the same view.
