"I recently stayed at Hotel Trébol for 3 days and 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—right in the heart of downtown, just steps from the markets and the Zócalo—which made it easy to explore everything on foot. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast portions were decent—not too small or too large—and we really appreciated that the staff was always willing to offer more if we wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s traditional colonial style added to its overall charm. Overall, it was a great value, and I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Oaxaca."

"El hotel está muy limpio, el personal de recepción se que reciben instrucciones y es su trabajo pero muy poco flexibles en por ser ayudar a solucionar la falta de habitaciones por no estar listas siendo que yo tenía acceso más temprano a la habitación fue casi casi imposible, el hotel está súper bien ubicado "

"Rooms are neglected. Shower are clogged up and flood the bathroom. Coffee makers don’t work or make null flavored coffee. Expensive for what you pay for. "

"The place looked nothing like the pictures online. Upon arrival, we were given a few towels, but they were dirty and stained. When we entered the room, it appeared as though it had not been cleaned. The blankets had visible stains, and the bathroom was unclean and unsanitary. Due to concerns about safety and cleanliness, we only stayed for about 10 minutes before requesting to check out, as the accommodations did not meet our expectations. Fortunately, we were able to find another place to stay. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here."

"Staff are courteous. The walls are paper thin, and unfortunately, I had to hear a man vomit every night for 5 nights in a row. The room wasn't as clean as I would've liked and the room can get a dingy smell if you don't put in the A/C and leave a window open. However, it felt safe, the bedding was clean, and the location is about a 10 min walk to the zócalo. Great for the simple traveler that isn't looking for any luxuries. Buffet breakfast is only good if you get there early. "
