From check-in to check-out, we felt welcomed and well cared for. The food was outstanding, with delicious options that our entire family enjoyed. The accommodations were equally impressive. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which offered the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and privacy. It was a relaxing and beautiful space where we created lasting family memories. What impressed us most was the attention to detail and the consistent level of service across the resort. Whether arranging transportation, assisting with activities, or simply checking on our needs, the staff always went above and beyond. "Resort is a steep 400m up a hill to reception and a further distance uphill to some of the villas. We were lucky to stay in Studio 2. Our room was beautiful and not many steps to the restaurant or pool. Staff were very nice and accommodating and have a free shuttle into and from town. If you don’t have general fitness I recommend you contact the resort when booking accommodation."

H Hotel El Nido - Vegan Friendly Hotel

""Honestly, as someone who treats eating like a religion, my biggest fear coming to El Nido was checking into a place that slaps “vegan” on the menu and serves you a sad plate of lettuce with nothing to say for itself. H Hotel is not that place. The chickpea omelette eats more like a French crêpe, slightly bitter at the finish, but in an interesting way. I went back for more that evening. Breakfast has real variety too. Over three days I had something different each time: pancakes, the chickpea omelette, yoghurt bowl. The pancakes are genuinely massive, the kind where two people sharing one is not a bad idea, and you’ll still leave full. For dinner I ordered the bang bang tofu. Crispy outside, sweet and spicy sauce, really good. Probably even better shared across a few dishes at the table. One downside: the bathroom is small and nicely designed, but the sliding door angle means water ends up on the floor outside the shower. The hotel does leave a mat there, so they know. I stayed in a sea view room. The balcony with chairs is my favourite thing about it. Early morning the light is still this grey-blue colour, sea and mountains just sitting there quietly. I stayed out longer than I planned. Staff member Sky sorted us a private speedboat for island hopping, just the two of us, not packed onto a boat with thirty strangers. Worth every peso. The massage place next door has a discount for hotel guests. I went twice. The second time I actually needed it."
