He called and got us reservations at a family restaurant on the island and made arrangements for them to come pick us up by boat. "What an absolutely stunning hotel to stay in. Hotel Turin Palace is a hotel of class. The rooms are tastefully decorated and so very comfortable. The position of the hotel is ideal for everything to visit around us. Breakfast is plentiful with a huge range of choices catering for every taste. An afternoon visiting the spa was a lovely treat. We had a fabulous meal on the rooftop terrace our first night midst a thunderstorm. Our second night we returned for cocktails and to take in the beautiful city view. The plants, foliage and fragrance from the jasmine plant were lovely. The station is across the road which was great for us as we had a train journey from the station on leaving. Turin is a understated city with a lot to offer, I feel we will definitely return."
