"The hotel is very run down and in need of a lot of attention. Check-in was chaotic - we literally blocked the road outside the hotel for 5 minutes waiting for someone to open the gate. Breakfast was minimal: a piece of toast each and no fresh bread rolls or croissants - we skipped it entirely the second day. Biggest problem, since we booked this location based on favourable images of the restaurant, was to find on arrival that there was no restaurant. We were told they couldn't get the staff...

"The Check-In was very easy and the owner was so nice. The kitchen was small and simple but had everything we needed. The atmosphere around the apartment was very italian and beautiful.Over all, the stay was perfect. The location is a little bit away from Verbania but it’s very easy to reach with a car or scooter."

"First, the positive; the apartment was clean and roomy for two people. The communications on how to enter the room with codes etc. were on time and helpful. The negative; the bathroom shower was very very small and had a shower curtain that does not hold the water from wetting the entire bathroom, it was awful taking a shower! We stayed for 15 nights and they only left us 4 small toilet paper rolls and the hair dryer did not work anywhere except in the kitchen, which was not the best place to...
