My wife and I first visited Grand Hotel Dino several years ago on a tour, and the beautiful images remained with us. We decided to return this July and it was everything we remembered and much more. The hotel is spectacular and the scenery is as well. Hopefully on our next trip up north we will bring our entire family including our grandchildren. We know that they, too, will just love it.

We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. One day a guest's 1960 Ferrari parked out the back with the top down - just like that ! One night tango dancing on the hotel...

Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just...

We booked the day before and made a mistake entering our email info, so we never received the welcome info. When we arrived we were able to reach help and they very quickly got us the info and got us in. The space was very clean and modern and the location was great. We only stayed a night but we would definitely come back and stay again. Excellent option if you’re looking in Stresa.

The hotel is right on the water. Very cool town. Amazing food at local restaurants. The owner of the hotel was very nice. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, hot water in the shower, cable TV.

This hotel was such a lovely stay! The room was spacious and clean and having the kitchen to cook was a huge plus! Silvia was so kind and helpful and explained everything very well and said we could text her at any time for whatever questions we might have. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

Staff is really nice, rooms are a bit smaller and basic but provides all what you need, you enjoy the things rather outside :-) that is why you are in maggiore right ;), I spent just a weekend and it provided us good night sleep with a good breakfast - all you need, juices, italian cofee is a must ofcourse, yogurt, mussli, sweets and breads. Again the best part of this hotel is the staff, from reception to welcome you even in the late evening, to the staff serving you breakfast.

Phenomenal. Incredible architecturally significant property with top-quality gourmet restaurant offering mind blowing tasting menu. Staff is absolutely the best it can be. Best service and food there is. Must see and experience to believe.

Great location in Laveno. Our room faced the water and made for great sunsets. Nice bed and bathroom. The staff was pleasant. Parking was easy and we were only a few minutes from town and the ferry. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast, for a fee, was worth it.
