"Clean comfortable room with modern furniture. Small bathroom but central location and handy for the station and city. Walls were very thin so could hear next room easily and a child (?) bouncing a ball in the room one evening. Good buffet breakfast Steps to reach the lift which may not suit some guests. "

"We are extremely disappointed with this stay, especially as returning guests who previously had much better experiences. Unfortunately, the hotel has clearly gone downhill and no longer reflects a 5-star standard.The room was poorly cleaned with dust throughout, a dirty bathroom, cigarette butts on the balcony, and a strong smell of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room. This is completely unacceptable. Room service was also poor, with missing items and cold, low-quality food. Breakfast was disorganised and frustrating — staff were unhelpful, coffee repeatedly had to be requested as it was not available at the buffet, and service in general was extremely slow. We also asked several times for tea and coffee, but it took far too long to arrive. Although I specifically asked for gluten-free bread, none ever arrived, and when we asked if there was any fresh gluten-free bread or pastries available, none were provided. We travel frequently, and this is the first time we have stayed in a 5-star hotel where there were no fresh gluten-free products available at all, apart from a few sealed processed items. This is far below expected standards. The hotel also states it is pet friendly, however dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, which was disappointing. As a result, we had to find nearby dog-friendly restaurants instead. Public areas were overcrowded and noisy, particularly the pool, with little control from staff. "Pleasant big hotel from inside. Breakfast nice and fresh but when we go always sausages are finished. Huge windows, clean bathroom. Storage room available for collecting bags later. Everything nearby to see, eat, buy. Only surprise bit was we had to pay 21 euro for a room as the city charge (2 rooms) but at the beginning we've been told €24 for everything. Its all good and nice stay. Highly recommend 👌 👍 "
