"First off let me say that this is an very good hotel. A lovely old building that is tastefully renovated in an old Italian style. The surrounding gardens and pool are also lovely. HOWEVER it is located in a town called Soverato which is a somewhat deserted (in mid Sept) little dirty place that consists of about 80 tower blocks that look like they were put up in a hurry 20 years ago. "We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we had a wonderul room. However, the cleanliness in the dining room was rather poor. The tables never got cleaned properly. The crumbs were just brushed of the table so it was left very sticky. I always used alcohol hand gel during breakfast. The cudlery could have also been cleaner. Please provide more napkins or serviettes during dinner. Change the cerial or bread at breafast time occasionally. The evening dinner was always very delicious. A large variety...

"Big unit and ac worked but that’s about it. Weekly clean and towel change only. Everything including pool shut down from 2-5pm in 45C heat?? Espresso and food overpriced by triple than everywhere else. More of a unit rental and your on your own. You can get a hotel for what I paid with full service in a major tourist area rather than this place. Tired building and far from beach, staff service non existent in any front. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help."
