"I spent four nights at this hotel with my sister. We absolutely love the location, Cleanines of the hotel and friendliness of the stuff. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty of it, but it is simple. The hotel is located in a beautiful area where you could go for a walk and swim if it’s nice and sunny & summer. Accessible to highways if you wish to travel around. A lot of free parking in the area safe place excellent for anyone who travels alone or in a company. "

Conveniently located in the middle of the city, a block from the water -- more precisely the Trieste Cruise Terminal. We arrived via train, and it was just a short walk (20 minutes with luggage) from the station. Better yet ... the cruise ship that we would board a couple days later was at that Cruise Terminal -- call it a 5-minute walk from the Hotel! Never mind that the hotel room was well kept -- clean, bathroom, et all. Could not have asked for more! Will definitely return!

I was very happy with my stay; the service was great, in particular one man at reception whose name began with a T (sorry I didn't get his full name). He was truly exceptional in offering ideas of things to do, how to get places, and really went out of his way to help. The breakfast was great as well, with great service there as well. This hotel is located in the center of Grado near the grand canal. It is very close to dozens of restaurants and shops and 10 min walk to 2 public beaches. Hotel staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful (typical Italian fare). Parking, albeit limited and tight, is available in a secure area accessible from the hotel’s lobby. Recommend getting a junior suite; the less expensive rooms are very small.

We loved our stay here - however did not realize it was so far out of town. DO NOT book here unless you have a car, it is really difficult with public transportation. If you just want to relax at the hotel or hike nearby it would be fine, but if you want to go back & forth to Trieste, find another place or bring a car. Our host was very friendly and shared his experiences with Up With People (I encouraged him to do so) We arrived on Sunday - a day their restaurant is closed, so we ordered pizza...
