"Great location in historical area of Siracusa. Right across from water. Great bar and bfast. Would stay again. Love our sea view room"

"We had a great time, this place is absolutely worth a stay! It is remote so make sure you have a rental if you have any plans to explore the island."

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. "Room was okay, more like a well used holiday inn in the middle of nowhere. All amenities were closed. Pool was pretty gross. We booked a junior suite, and they gave us a standard room. We had to go back and say you gave us the wrong room. Then they said they over booked sorry. They gave us dinner one night but still pretty bad. "Super friendly staff! The location is great - just 3 min walk to the nearest beach."

Pizza restaurant on site was off the scale terrible: mixed fried starter was going back mainly uneaten from every table - it was straight from freezer bag to deep fat fryer junk....

"The beach options are excellent but the rooms need updating. The hot tubs were not hot and the showers were very simple and old."

"It’s such a special grand old hotel. The lookout from our balcony was like a ship porthole, offering this really great view of the waterfront and property. Breakfast was top-notch. All in, a delightful stay!"

"Good location."

"We enjoyed our stay"

"Really nice place in the heart of Ortigia. Everyone super helpful. I recommend to book online for the puppet show."
