"This was the perfect property for our first visit to Manuel Antonio. The rooms were spacious ane comfortable. We saw monkeys on our balcony! We didn’t have a rooms with a view but I imagine the higher floors must have stunning views. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and had a plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. The monkeys gave us quite a show in the late afternoon hopping balcony to balcony. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner there as well. We received amazing service from Javier, Edgar, Allan, Jazmin. And the beach was stunning and we loved walking right down the trail. The trail itself was so pretty with all of the flowers and vegetation but fair warning it was rocky and muddy and a very steep climb coming back. Wear tennis or sturdy shoes. It was a nice little hike! We rented chairs and umbrellas and standup paddleboards at the beach for not too much money. And we had delicious drinks and excellent service from the beach stands. There is no reason not to stay at Shana by the Beach! Rides to restaurants and Manuel Antonio National Park were about $10 each way. Enjoy!"

The hotel’s central location allowed us to easily explore nearby restaurants and shops—everything was just a short walk away. We genuinely can't think of a single negative aspect; it was that good! We’re already planning our return and can’t wait to recommend Hotel Lia to our friends and family. "
