To stay at Umaid Bhawan is to be treated like royalty. The staff takes painstaking steps to ensure very personal service and your complete satisfaction. Leela palac in Udaipur is one of most luxurious hotels we have ever been too. The Shesh mahal dining experience was the highlight of our trip, the food was so delicious and the view of Lake Pichola are to die for. We stayed at the Oberoi Udaivilas, still seeing the Taj Lake Palace from our daily boat ride to the city was too tempting. Finally for our last two nights in Udaipur we booked the Taj Lake Palace, and we didn't regret it. The hotel breaths history and couldn't be more charming. We had a memorable stay, great staff, amazing room and the best attention to detail. Mr Lokendra Rathore Duty Manager was outstanding, supervising our stay inch by inch, me and my wife couldnt be happier.

Hotel is quite beautiful on several acres of manicured property. Pool absolutely sparkling and lovely to enjoy from dining table of one of the hotel's restaurants. Rooms clean and large, staff friendly, helpful and competent. A lot for the money.

Booked the premium suite and it did not disappoint. It was spacious comfortable and luxurious. The service was the at the ultimate standards of Taj .The bar had a fabulous setting Great resort for a stay in udaipur . Minor cons not deal breakers : The breakfast buffet spread was not as elaborate as other Taj or premium 5 star standards more than made up by the always ready to please staff and their outstanding service . Need to bulk up their activity centre schedule for kids
