After being to Rio plenty of times before we were not expecting this level of service. Adorable house, amazing location with probably the best service we've ever experienced in Brazil. Will be back, com certeza!!

Had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Paz resort. The hotel is in the hills of the Itaipava area of Petropolis and while close to the center also feels like a nice retreat. Quinta da Paz is truly a resort, on a large beautiful piece of property with a gorgeous pool. There is even a small nature hike on the resort. Friendly helpful attentive staff, amazing food, breakfast of beautiful fresh fruit, dinner beyond expectations, scenic views from room (even the shower) and dining room, spectacular grounds, appealing area around hotel, comfortable rooms. Loved it so much, stayed an extra night.

The property was amazing! The room was great, the view of Rio was priceless, and the personal chef was outstanding! I enjoyed the floating breakfast and private dinner. It was pure paradise. I can’t wait to return.

The staff and level of service exceeded our expectations! I’d recommend anyone looking for a luxury getaway to pick this hotel. Julianna at the Concierge desk and Merrilo in the restaurant are just two of many that took very good care of us.

Service was outstanding, owners, manager, everyone was very helpful. The hotel is beautiful, chic and stylish.... A place to relax after visiting Rio. Breakfast was special not only because of the place and the view it has where it was served, but because it was prepared to the detail. I hope to go back soon.

Perfect location, close enough to walk down town and to the beach. But quite, peaceful, beautiful grounds, good food at a reasonable price, and a wonderful staff. Pictures just don't do this place justice. It is beautiful.
