"Hotel El Faro is a beautiful hotel by the beach with a big swimming pool and a pool bar. The staff at the restaurant and bar were excellent and helpful. Also the cleaning staff was very nice and cooperative with cleaning hours. Our problem was the management of the hotel. The manager would not let all members of our group to check in to the hotel as the hotel had some connection problem with Expedia. Note: the room was reserved and payed a year in advance and the confirmation had been sent to...

Holiday Inn Guatemala City by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Pretty good spot… during the week the rooms above the gambling place can be a little noisy."

The Westin Camino Real, Guatemala

10/10 Excellent

"Customer service was great, breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable with a nice view. Unfortunately parking was a little hectic , on two occasions when we got back to Hotel , lot was full!we guided us to a second lot, but it was stressful. Hotel is beautiful, conveniently located, the only recommendation would be that the carpets in the hallways get cleaned professionally, there are stains and things that for a hotel of this category should not have."

Hotel Biltmore Guatemala

8/10 Good

"I usually have no problems with this hotel. I really enjoy staying here for the comfort, close proximity to airport, and safe area. However, before arriving today, I emailed a day or two in advance for an early check-in because of the long distance travel to get into the city. I have been waiting for more than 2.5 hours to get situated. Meanwhile, I have seen plenty check-outs and check-ins walk by me. Not good. Moreover, my Allergies are flaring up due to the pungent artificial fragrance they have in the lobby."

Tikal Futura Hotel & Convention Center

10/10 Excellent

"During our trip to Guatemala in August 2026, we stayed at Hotel Tikal Futura to celebrate my brother’s birthday. It was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The security team made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including a beautiful pool, gym, massage services, and a shopping mall right next door, with a movie theater nearby! The food was absolutely delicious! Our package included a breakfast buffet featuring traditional Guatemalan favorites such as eggs, beans, breakfast meats, fresh bread, tropical fruits, freshly squeezed juices, and amazing coffee. Every meal was five-star quality! Our rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with daily housekeeping, air-conditioning, and spectacular city views. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. Everyone went above and beyond to make my brother’s birthday celebration memorable. We had such a wonderful time that we honestly didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend Hotel Tikal Futura for its comfort, security, delicious food, excellent amenities, and exceptional service. Thank you for making our family celebration unforgettable! We cannot wait to return! ❤️🇬🇹"
