"I’m pretty sure I booked a premium room with 2 double beds. Instead I was given a double and a sofa. We later overheard the same room that I booked was given to someone else and they were irate. The hotel was very old. The front entrance doors were very loud and looked beaten up. The some photos were deceptive. Only one place to get soft drinks and snacks. Very surprising with a hotel had 6 floors. For the price we paid, we could have been in a nicer hotel. Poorly maintained driveway. Unhappy with the experience."

"All was okay, except the room temperature! Started at 26C, was at 27.5C by 6:30am, most uncomfortable night I’ve had in a hotel room ever!"

"The room was nice, king sized bed in a big room, annd it was clean. The hallways though, from the elevator to my room at the end of the hall, had not been vacuumed for many days. I arrived Thursday at 5pm, and left Monday at 10 am, and the hallway had the same debris present the whole time. If you go to the restaurant, order from the menu as the food is much better. The breakfast buffet was not good at all."

"Very nice, clean & quiet, great little kitchenette. Great breakfast that was slightly different every day - omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, ham, pancakes, yogurt, plus the usual cereals & breads. Would recommend. "

"Clean, comfortable and spacious room. This is my third multi-day stay in 3 months, and I will definitely stay here again. The room is well-maintained, and kudos to the housekeeping staff for keeping it in such good condition. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room, both in excellent working order, and the fridge actually keeps drinks cold. The hotel is good, despite the exterior and hallways appearing a bit sketchy. My stays have always been quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. Breakfast vouchers for the attached restaurant are available."

"Check in/out was quick and easy. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast has downsized, I think, since my last stay (scrambled eggs, sausage patty, hashbrown patty, white bread, pastry, apples, 2 cold cereals and 2 juices). No longer using pancake maker or serving cranberry juice or bacon. Not great but provided some nourishment until we could get to a restaurant."

"Spent 1 night in early March(blizzard outside). Easy check in. Friendly and helpful staff. I love a good soak and I really liked it at Manitou, hadn't been for about 30 years. I would recommend it. At Manitou, the rooms are on the smaller side, somewhat dated but clean and nicely made up though...$160 on a Tuesday. Pool wasn't busy(take your flip flops or water shoes for pool deck) Bathrobe and pool towels provided. Restaurant was okay, nothing special. Nice gift shop. Did not book any spa services. Will definitely return."
