"This hotel is well maintained, but simple. It is a place to stay when you just need a nice safe place to sleep. The staff were very straightforward (the stereotype of a German), but helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is next to an industrial site that seems to store waste bins, so it had the smell of mulch (not unpleasant to me, but be aware). "Interesting old hotel/farm setting. Old stone hotel building but in good condition. Arrived after dark a little before 8pm and the place was completely dark. Had a hard time finding a lobby for check in. Another guest helped us and we got someone (non-English speaking) to check us in. Our room on the third floor was modern and clean but small.
