After I had to change hotels I chose to come to the Yangthang Heritage. Not only did the accept my last minute booking but also prepared a room immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful with painted carvings throughout and is only a short walk to the market road. The dining was very good. The true highlight of my stay was the service. The hotel is decorated with high-end art pieces and provides a calming Zen experience from beginning to end. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful - the only aberration was we found a baby stroller in the room after our return from a side trip, and we did not ask for it. The WiFi signal was patchy. A beautiful heritage property located in a walkable, partial steep walk to pedestrianised shopping area with bars and restaurants, amazing views all around. Expect minor property age related issues and facilities. Excellent service from local based employees. Good food and lovely and friendly people.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town near the Secretariat building and across the street from the former king’s palace complex. We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby...

Clean rooms and friendly staff! Away from center so it was little difficult to find cab. Room heaters charged separately but were not big enough to keep the room warm.

Vivanta Sikkim is one more jewel in the beauty of Sikkim. Place is nicely designed and well decorated but above all has the extraordinary staff who’s willing to go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Heated swimming pool overlooking the valley view gives you the best possible experience. The staff was excellent. They helped bring my clothes back and forth to a laundry, cooked breakfast, catch a cab upon departure, and Marie’s my bags up and down the stairs. I Opted for a room with a view and it was with every penny.

Room was clean. Staffs are great and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Great location.
