My husband and I loved staying at Seiri Del Mar! The grounds are stunning and the condo provided everything we needed. The on-site washer and dryer was a plus! Ratka, her husband, and entire staff were so kind. Whenever I had a question I would just ask anyone and they would help us. We will definitely be back. Absolutely the most stunning hotel and location. Our king room overlooked a pristine sandy beach. Everything was just perfect, the staff, the decor, the comfort and the food. The breakfast included a Belizean specialty the fry Jack. A delicious puff of doughnut like bread served with or without sugar and cinnamon. I did a lot of research for our trip to Belize and just really couldn't find a place that seemed more appealing in our price range than Sleeping Giant. I was not disappointed. This is a true hidden gem I booked at the last moment. Arrived late night, but once the sun came up, you were in true paradise. Everywhere your eyes landed, beautiful existed. From the bedroom suite to the bathroom to the porch, to diner area, to the natural spring pool. Breathe taken. I need to plan a trip just to experience this boutique hotel again. This is a lovely beachfront property. My husband and I stayed in the Stingray cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nice having the option of leaving windows open so we could hear the crashing waves or turning on the AC if the humidity was high. The staff was fantastic. We got this place at last minute, arrive late and the owner host were waiting for us. Room very naive, individual tree houses. The place is beautiful, we could not enjoy it ,much because we were in Placencia for a weeding and we were pretty busy, left early and come back late, we did have breakfast and I can say it is very good and reasonable, their restaurant have a great sea view.

The room was not an ocean front view as it was advertised as it was a pool view. It was a long walk to parking on the street that was not convenient. The room was great in that it had high end furniture, fixtures, etc.

This place is super new or super newly renovated. It seems to be one of the first of its kind in this particular town. There is a fence around the property, but we didn’t see any particular need for it, aside from making guests feel secure and a little more away from the local sounds and sights.
