The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.

Linda and Andre were wonderful hosts. The property was just as described, conveniently located, and like home. Andre gave us great travel advice and made us a delicious breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful room. Our host was charming and extremely helpful. the providing of bicycles was very thoughtful and bike riding from the unit around the small towns in the area was super pleasant with very nicely maintained bike trails.

Fantastic service. Concierge was amazing in helping us maximize our time in Hobart. Rooms are large and beautiful. Award winning restaurant and bar on site. Would go back in a flash

The Rivulet was a WONDERFUL surprise. The hotel and room mixed old world charm with modern technology. We were greeted with complimentary port wine and fine chocolates. Then each morning breakfast was an amazing assortment of food and drink, served by helpful staff. If and when we return to Tasmania, we will stay there again!

Right size, beautiful artsy. Phone number for property in Expedia did not work, fortunately there was a number listed outside the building that did. Check in instructions could be better written, description of breakfast and fruit,vegetables should be revised as only available seasonally. U pick from garden. Fabulous property with attention to every detail

Stanley was our favourite town in Tasmania and On The Terrace as was of the nicest places we stayed. It was very spacious, had everything we needed and extra attention was paid to small details to make it a real experience.

Our visit was during Christmas and it was our honeymoon. I don’t think any other place would have been as perfect. We stayed in the gardeners cottage in the middle of an incredible garden. The two story little house is adorable and functional. We agreed it has the best shower in the world and that’s not even in the top 10 lovely things about the place. My partner and I made an emergency reservation fairly late on the same day we were meant to arrive in town.
