"Great hotel in a great location. Regular guests"

"The room was clean, had everything we needed , beds were comfy very comfy , had all the amenities including air con and running hot water which catered to me and my family of 4. Very quiet and you even get views of Lake Taupo from the room . For the price we paid we got more than we bargained for 👏. "Pleasant place to stay at a reasonable rate."

"Our stay was amazing, starting with our arrival, staff was so kind, welcoming. The room, it was perfect for a family of four, all we needed was right there. The pool, oh my goodness, don't get me started this was amazing, my girls & husband loved the waterslides. I love how movies were played. The cave was cool & the swim up bar was a high light."

"Place looks deserted. Not maintained at all. Got in late and stayed the first night but then saw how disgusting it was the next day. Full of mould and felt very unsafe"

"Excellent stay, great location by the lake. Comfortable and clean. Hosts were very friendly, efficient and helpful! The pool was very nice, and the water was warm. We would definitely stay at The Reef again."
