Check out was smooth and good. I was able to check out early and was given a refund with a small cancelation feel. I mistakenly reserved a smoking room which was my mistake but I was unable to change the room due to no vacancies. Amenities were very good and the room was comfortable for the price. It was conveniently located and near the main station.

A reasonably priced hotel that serves the basics for the night. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in went smoothly. Spacious room and felt clean despite the old feeling of the building. Located in the red light district, so possibly somewhere to stay clear of if staying with minors.

My stay at Stella was amazing. The host, Shuji, was kind enough to make himself available for when I arrived, to make sure the check in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Although men only had one shower to share (there is more than one men’s only toilet), I never waited to use it, nor did I make anyone else. Several minutes walking to JR station, friendly staff and there are nice restaurants within walking distance. Got nice coffee/tea and bar in the Inn. Worth for money to stay there.

Very nice staff, free coffey every morning, quiet dorm with nice view from window. Nice walking area and bakery nearbuy. Calm stay in nature with all comforts. Highly recommend.

I had an lovely time staying here. It was a perfect spot as a solo traveler. The area is beautiful and a short walk to so many great spots in kanazawa. The host was so kind and answered any questions i had. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We loved this simple hostel for our family of four’s time in Takayama. Friendly staff, a free load of laundry for three nights stay. Amazing location near the train and bus and walkable to Old Town. Delightful.

Super clean and cozy place. They were great but Expedia wasn’t with this one. I thought I was getting single Japanese style room with share bathroom. I arrived and found out I’m in mix dormitory. Picture shows you single room and information was single room with share bathroom until I arrived there. I don’t think junk it had anything to do with the place. They were all great. Nice, clean, and convenient location with a very fair price in Kanazawa. It would be nice if the check in time was a little earlier and/or if the check out time was later (3pm/10am respectively). Despite that, good value.
