"The main lodge and cabins were stylish, designed and well maintained. The jungle setting on a beach was enchanting. The beach was lovely but the swimming was rough given we were there in the off season. The Sri Lankan food was delicious and the staff were friendly and accomodating."

"This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. "Superb stay! The staff were friendly & helpful & the hotel has a relaxed feel that makes it hard to leave! The beach area is accessed via a short alleyway & if you ask at reception, they will put an umbrella up by the sun loungers for you. The only thing that can be improved is the Wi-fi connection inside the room. "

"Excellent central location for exploring central Trincolomee. Well-managed and friendly, accommodating staff. Make sure to request a room with hot water and AC as not all rooms are the same. Of note, the hotel is currently in the process of adding another floor. Once completed, there will be some nice city views from the top floor rooms."

"Very close to jump off point for Pigeon Island. Budget room was very clean but very hot despite the fan. No ventilation and windows didn’t open. Check in and checkout were really slow. Was quite disappointed with the friendly, but exceedingly unhelpful staff - not what I would expect at this more expensive property."
