"Overall, everything was lovely, and I had a pleasant stay. The hotel was nice, and the breakfast options were delicious, with a good variety to choose from. However, I did have an issue with my breakfast package that unfortunately remained unresolved. When I raised the concern with the staff, I was told that they couldn’t do anything about it because the booking had been made through Expedia. I found this disappointing, as I would have appreciated more assistance in resolving the matter, regardless of where the reservation was made. While I enjoyed most aspects of my stay, this experience was not ideal and did affect my overall impression. I hope the hotel can improve how such issues are handled in the future to ensure all guests feel supported, regardless of how they book their stay."

"We had a very nice stay. The room was comfortable and the property was lovely. The staff was very nice. We saw some issues that need improvement. The WIFI did not work in our room. We had to go to the front desk to go online. Also there was no hot water, so the showers were cold."

"The location of the hotel on the beach is great. If you get motion sickness I suggest taking something for the ride from the airport as the roads are very winding as well as steep. Our hotel room was larger than I expected (could be because of the high ceilings). However, some parts of the hotel need attention. Our toilet was very difficult to flush and one night it ran all night long. On our first night we had ants in our bathroom sink (which the front desk quickly responded to with pest spray). One of our bathroom lights did not work (bulb was blown) from the moment we got there till we left. Although the restaurant had or tried to blend in some local cuisine with international ones, I think they can add a bit more local flavor. For example the desert menu for dinner could include local flavors of ice cream like soursop or peanut or barbadine (they only offered rum and raisin). The cassava ties were a nice touch. I wish I had seen more local flavors/foods being infused into the menu like that. Overall we had a great stay."

"The property was well kept, the rooms were clean, the views were stunning and the food was exceptional. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything the hotel had to offer. On the first night of my stay we had an issue with the shower and toilet in our room and after reporting the issue, we were relocated and upgraded to a superior room within 20 minutes. The only complaint I had with the room was that temperature of the hot water was a bit on the colder side, but everything else in the room was great. The food from the restaurant was absolutely on point and exceeded our expectations. The lunch and dinner menu had enough options to choose from however I felt that the breakfast buffet could of had a few more options, but it tasted great none the less. One thing I would like to highlight though is that while walking on the private beach I did see quite a bit of the fruit from the manchineel tree (i.e. the apple of death) on the sand. I didn't see any signs warning persons of the fruit and the dangers associated with it. With that being said, we did enjoy our stay at the Bacelot Beach Club and would definitely be visiting again in the future."
