This hotel experience was one of the nicest I have ever had. The Hotel itself is a mid-size hotel - I read that it was a converted mansion. It sits right outside the boundary of the old city, and is one block from a central roundabout called "Porta de la Mar" or Gate to the sea. My husband and I were delighted with our stay at Hotel L'Estacio. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon in time to walk into the historic village of Bocariente before returning to the hotel for wine and cheese. Monday morning there was a huge assortment of breakfast foods which we enjoyed especially since we were driving to Valencia, then flying to Mallorca. Perfect location in Valencia! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I only deducted a star on comfort because it was so hot and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature. I would stay again and maybe request a fan 😊
