"The spa facilities are top-notch and truly the highlight of this property. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. We had dinner at the main restaurant, Minamo, and it was one of the worst meals I've had in recent memory. The restaurant felt more like a large banquet hall than a fine dining venue, and it was clearly understaffed. After that experience, we canceled our sushi dinner reservation and chose to eat elsewhere. In my opinion, this is an excellent destination for a day...

"Lovely historic property. Room was comfortable and clean. Views from the breakfast room were incredible. The staff were nice, but not able to resolve issue with television not working at all. (It was rainy when we were there so would have liked it during down time.) Nice spread at buffet."

"Really a great option if you want to stay in Vaxholm for one night. Kids had fun. But generally: 1) the breakfast supplies started a bit too late for early travellers, not too helpful as for the instructions on the direction; 2) no private bathroom (nothing wrong from the descriptions though). Also, the limitation of leaving the island is the schedule of the ferry so do plan ahead:) Enjoy your stay anyway!"

"Man wird sehr freundlich empfangen, fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die Ruhe suchen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber, die alten Fahrräder kann man sich kostenlos ausleihen. Perfekt für eine Tour nach Gustavsberg. Sehr zu empfehlen: Fika auf der Terrasse, unheimlich lecker! Der Outdoor Fitnessbereich ist leider ziemlich verwahrlost, ich glaube hier hat schon länger niemand mehr trainiert und vieles ist kaputt."

"Would absolutely recommend this cottage. Compact, but we were 5 (3 kids 2 adults), and never felt like we were on top of each other. Right next to the water and a south facing terrace. We would go back."
