The best. Traveling with 2 friends for the last 30 years over much of the world, I would rank this one of the most delightful small hotels. Lovely third floor suite overlooking Lake Bled complete with the perfect castle highlighted by a rainbow. Staff was young and professional while maintaining a warm sense of humor. We booked the hotel based on the proximity to the airport and were DELIGHTED by the attentiveness, and overall standards of this sparkling, charming little gem set in the Slovenian hills - complete with a running brook and frost covered trees. The overall standards - room, service,cleanliness, & comfort- were a treat for two road-weary travelers. Would definitely recommend; will definitely return.

Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next.
