"What a great property- had to check in for this hotel at another hotel which was confusing and parking was limited but otherwise - locked entry so felt very safe - big gorgeous windows and thick blackout blinds- big room- comfortable bed- wonderful option in this northern town "

"There is a lot of renovation going on at Reykjanes, but mostly that's on the exterior and doesn't affect the interior or your comfort in anyway. Don't let the exterior view of the building put you off. The place has an interesting history and they're building for the future. The small peninsula on which the hotel is located is interesting in itself with a salt factory, "hot beach", and of course the large hot pool. The setting and the views are pure Westfjords. It's a breathtaking one hour....or...

"Jon was very accommodating. We are loud annoying Americans and he graciously granted every request. The building is older and the location is remote, so it's more charming and interesting than sleek and luxurious. The pool is an incredible experience. "
