It was a short stay but an awesome one. Newfane is a quaint area. The room itself was beautiful. It was nice and quiet; didn’t hear others. Very clean. Would loved to have stayed longer. A little pricey but then it again it was a last minute booking and also peak foliage season.

Superlative. Beautiful house and grounds with access to woodland trails and the river. Super friendly host and staff. Excellent breakfast. Best quality beds, linens and amenities.

Beautiful, quaint Inn . We had 3 single rooms that worked perfectly for our golf clinic weekend. An easy drive to a fabulous diner for breakfast and close to the golf course.

The room was small and simple, but nicely decorated, including a record player with a vinyl album (cover, at least; didn't check for actual vinyl). My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway in the Southern Vermont mountains and found the perfect spot. The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and did everything possible to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Arrived late and were greeted by 2 friendly associates at the desk. There were coffee, tea, hot cocoa, cookies, cheese and crackers available. A welcoming lobby with fireplace. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. Lots of outlets in room. Indoor pool was nice, clean, and heated. hot tub was very relaxing after days of skiing. Continental breakfast was very good and had a variety of choices. We were pleasantly surprised with our choice.

This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. A serene setting in a gorgeous home, tucked into the mountains with a brand new farm-to-table restaurant opening--powered by solar panels--I was eminently impressed with the quality of this Inn, as well as the hospitality. I had a very comfortable stay. No complaints. Many great cable TV channels, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, My room had a river view (pictured).

Absolutely lovely. Bed was super comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, lots of places to sit and relax. Easy walk to restaurants and across the street from the MOCA. Nice breakfast and you can even get a drink and a snack in the evening if you want. The sauna, whirlpool and heated pool at the end of October we a pleasant surprise.

I had an incredible stay at this renovated 1960s motel! They've done an amazing job of preserving the vintage character while adding tasteful, modern updates. STAFF I want to start by pointing out that the staff at the hotel were above and beyond PHENOMENAL, and I mean ALL THE STAFF. I spent the weekend up there and got stuck with some car problems in a blizzard and dealt with everybody on the staff there. The inn is an old home updated for today. They do maintain the Victorian style with traditional Victorian furnishings. The outside gardens are gorgeous & a grand place for weddings(which are held there often)The food was topnotch. The only inn where the food has been this good(smaller type inns)would be the Sugar Hill Inn. You got a full great country breakfast in the morning. Many places give you a smallish breakfast.
