We were taking a chance on the location as Casa del Maya didn't appear to be in one of the more central areas of town (at least from what we could see on the map) but it's close to everything. We liked the property and the privacy there. The service people are very friendly, The food is good but could be a bit more fancy. The quality of the offeredtea ( tea bags of the simplest) would have to be improved. Please compare the offer of other 5 stars hotels in the world.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Staff members were friendly and helpful, guiding us to some very nice and uncrowded sites, including a wonderful cenote out of town. The pool and courtyard area is lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We regretted leaving.

The hotel appears to be a converted mansion built in the 1920's - 1930's if I were to guess. So, basically it is like having your own mansion with plenty of courteous and helpful staff for the price of a hotel room. The breakfast was great(fresh squeezed natural orange juice). 10/10 one of the best stays i’ve ever had at a hotel. I did not want to go home for maybe the first time ever. food was great service was great rooms were so comfortable and well appointed. IM OBSESSED. currently averaging about 10 nights a month in hotels for work and this is easily the most comfortable place i’ve been in over a year.

Stayed here on honeymoon. Rented a car and explored the Yucatan using the Hacienda as a base. Wonderful property, the casitas maya are excellent, and the food at the restaurant (especially breakfast) is the best of what the region has to offer. The staff are discrete, almost entirely out of site but quickly in the room to clean up once you leave for dinner, etc. Great place.

The staff is friendly and professional. Ricardo, who is in charge of the hacienda went above and beyond expectations. He made us feel very special as he catered to our needs, assuring the relaxing time we were looking during our stay. The breakfast is made to order with good options. The hotel was really great . It is pretty small ( six rooms only I believe ) . The breakfast was excellent, and dinner very interesting menu, unique and delicious.( vegetarian). We loved selecting and using products from their collection during our stay, and we ended up buying a lot of it to take home with us, since it’s truly special. We had to leave our Airbnb early due to excessive noise and ended up here. This place is sooo quiet. The room: layout was spacious and well thought out with a comfy bed. There were some complaints in the reviews of the shower not getting hot. We initially thought we had that problem too but after at least 2 minutes of letting the water run it turned hot. My suggestion, leave the handle right in the middle of hot and cold and let it run. That may help. The rooftop swimming pool/Fitness...
