The food at the restaurant was amazing. After a long drive and a small emergency we stopped here late at night for a sleep. They fed us and even helped us find a taxi in the morning, making over 30 calls to get us a ride out. Thank you to all the staff for the service and care.

The adjacent abbey was built during the first half of XVIII century; the premises where the hotel sits today were built to serve as the abbey library and study place for the monks. What a wonderful stay! This is a very unique opportunity to stay in an active Monastery. The grounds are buildings are beautiful and well preserved. The room was simple, but spacious and very comfortable. The Friars are warm and welcoming; they welcome participation in prayers and services, though there is no expectation to do so.
