"Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area). "Liked the place and if ever in Fiji again this is a place I would book again. Great service, enjoyed all my meals there, and prices were good. Meals come to you right on time and you get flexibility on where you want to have your meal. The hotel has coral reef right at its shore, lots of fish to see and beautiful coral. Some reviews mention rocks, but is more like coral off the shore. Let’s just say if you snorkel there, there is no need to book another expensive snorkeling outing. All round recommendation from me."

"Our time at the Wellesley was my favourite part about our trip to Fiji. The room was gorgeous, spacious, clean with all the amenities you could need. The resort as a whole was breathtaking, with incredibly meticulous tropical landscaping and a view of the reef from the pool and restaurant that would make you shed a tear at dinner time. But all of that was shadowed by the elite level service we recieved by the staff on site. The chef, Raj, took in to consideration our vegetarian dietary requirements and stunned us with mouth watering food everyday. No meal was exactly the same - a true master of his craft.
