Unusually good hot breakfast. I enjoyed the omelette slices and sausages. My granddaughter liked the waffles. Plenty of towels. HVAC was efficient. Worst thing I noted was the doors are noisy in operation.

The check in went ok. The sidewalks were chipped and missing parts of the walk. The walls were thin. When the person above me walked it was very loud. The bed was old and lumpy. It was more of a workers hotel so was fortunately quiet during the night. The sink did not drain very fast. The bathroom door was too long and dragged so much on the floor I couldn't get the door closed.

Good for fishing trip. Room had updated vinyl anf carpet flooring. Beds felt old and worn-out. They have a fish cleaning station but cannot de-scale fish, only fileting is only.

The rooms need some updating. The bathroom was dirty. Looked like whoever cleaned it didn't do a good job. The water pressure was too strong so every time you turn on the water, it sprays everywhere. The staff was nice. The area is close to everything else in town.

DIRTY! dated but simple

We walk in to a someone homestyle/welcoming room with tables, board games on a shelf and a dog walked up to us. We see a small desk to check in at and we give our information, to then be asked to walk into a closet and go over billing information. We mention that we had requested in the notes of our reservation, to be put near a quieter area. One employee tells us that the place is booked up and that the bar closes at 2 and we should expect people to be loud. They did offer us to go upstairs to an available room, but said our room was next to the boardroom on one side and it should be quiet. We get our keys to go to the room, but before we walk away the employee excitedly informs us that the strippers will be staying at this hotel. (It was an event weekend for the ice fishing tournament in town) We ignore the statement and go to the room and drop off our bags, then leave for supper, returning a few hours later. Upon returning to our room, we use the restroom, to find hair in the sink, on the counter and in the toilet bowl. The TV doesn't turn on, so we look behind it and see the cord is unplugged after moving the tv a few inches forward on the desk. Below the legs of the TV on the counter, we find food, chips or something sitting there loose. The bedspreads are both very wrinkled and mattress protector has dried yellow liquid on it. We go to the desk and inform that we will be checking out and the employee says we just checked in. And says we can get a receipt online.
