I booked my hotel room 4 days earlier and I called the hotel that make sure I get correctly so I talk to front desk manager in charge Mr. Mehdi or Nadim I can't exactly recall the name but I spoke front desk manager on 20th September 2026 and I mentioned to him that make sure room bed sheets are clean and the bathroom must good clean! As I arrived in the white place Hotel on spt.23.26 at 11:30am and I was waiting for 12pm check in, At 12pm I approached to the front desk and asked about my room! he tells it will ready in a shortly so I asked that person did talk with you! he said yes so I went to sit in the lobby then it already 12:37pm so I approached again in the front desk and asked is my room ready?time was 1pm they are not able to give me a room, they thought I'm Bangladeshi they can fool me but I told them I am American citizen and I was very upset with their behaviour and not to apologise So I went to sit again at1:37 pm asst.manager and told me that my room is ready! So I went to 3rd floor ,hallway so dark and stinky smell he took a corner room full of cigarettes smell which I specifically mentioned that no smoking deluxe room Queen bed,in the room is so sheety and full size bed so I refuse to take that room and I come to the lobby and show them my booking details, after that I was afraid of my security! Also Hotel position out the city and location is very very dirty, I was so worried about my next day flight to USA, even i said my statement I want full refund!!!

Awesome experience especially on food I'm really happy with the service and the food was delicious. They have fresh food, a nice atmosphere, and lots of different dishes to choose from, like local food, Western dishes, and Asian cuisine.

I had a fantastic time at the hotel! The food options were really good, and I enjoyed my visit a lot. Even though there was loud road construction outside, which wasn't the hotel's fault, the inside of the hotel was amazing and really clean. The Front Office team provided excellent service.

The hotel was well-lit, and the walls were brightly colored. Unlike most of the other hotels I've stayed in in Bangladesh, which tend to have dark walls and dimly lit rooms, this one was a pleasant. One of the outstanding features was the hotel's restaurant, which offered 24-hour service and had an extensive menu to choose from. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I have stayed here many times. And I will definitely return back when ever I come to dhaka

I prepaid for six nights but ended up staying only one night because I was very uncomfortable. The room had an unpleasant smell, and I did not feel welcomed or comfortable because of the staff’s attitude. When I checked out the next morning, I asked if I could get a refund for the remaining five nights, but I was told that no refund was possible. I had no choice but to leave, which meant I lost the money I had paid for the remaining five nights. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I cannot recommend staying here.

I stayed at White Palace Hotel during my layover since I arrived very late, and it’s ideal for a transit stay. It's incredibly convenient for the airport. The hotel is lovely, with very comfortable, quiet rooms, and the staff are friendly, food was delicoius & reasonable.
