"I was pleased with the Hotel room and the location was the best for my needs. Firstly the room had everything. I have stayed at other places that had no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the shower but this room did. And a microwave oven and small fridge. It had a single cup coffee pot that was instant coffee pods not good for me. However this location was conveniently located across from a coffee shop and a another place just a small walk up a little hill, a bakery with tons of coffee choices. I was there 3 days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in July. Across the street there was free live music outside on Thursday in walking distance. A lake fed by the American River with walking trails etc. ect. I highly recommend Lake Natoma Hotel in Folsom, California."

"Great hotel in an ideal location. Ample large parking available. Check-in staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms are big, facilities practical, and the whole hotel has fresh new renovations. Breakfast tasted good as well. Highly recommended for road trips and leisure stays."

"This place was amazing 10 stars! Very clean and welcoming lobby. Outside was very well maintained. A quick ride in the elevator to the second floor and wa-la, walked into a beautiful and inviting room. Could barely hear our neighbors TV, but the hotel was complete silence at 9pm. The best thing was the vending machine area had a washer and dryer a few steps from our hotel door, so i did a load of laundry which turned out beautifully. House keeping knocked on our door in the morning asking if we needed anymore towels or amenities, which we didn’t but very sweet gal with a friendly smile. We stayed at Kiota Inn for 3 nights and honestly hated to leave we had such a good experience. We’ll definitely stay here again next year when we visit our son in Ione CA again. Thanks for an awesome stay and experience, appreciate all the staff very much."

Historic Cary House Hotel

"Placerville is an adorable historic gold mining town with a lovely main street with lots of cute shops and restaurants. The historic Cape Hotel looks exactly like it did 150 years ago in all of its old photos. It is like stepping back in time. It has the second oldest working elevator west of the Mississippi. The staff was extremely friendly. You get to park for free directly behind the hotel (after checking in they will give you a pass to put in your window). Each room is given a cute little name. Our room had a little kitchenette, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure and temperature was great. We did go in July, so I knew it would be hot. It took awhile for the AC to "cool" the rooms down, but I brought a plug in portable fan that I put next to the nightstand. The rooms never really got "cold." It was a fun experience even though we didn't encounter any ghosts."

"We stayed here for three nights. A good value for the price. Breakfast was decent, the smallish pool was well-liked by the kids. The room was clean and comfy, although the bed was very soft. Some staff were very helpful, others seemed irritated by our presence. With only one person at the desk at any time, sometimes you had to wait a few minutes for pool towels. We also had put out our "clean room" sign one day, and it was ignored."
