The Indian Restaurant is the hidden gem

Hotel was pet friendly and family friendly, staff fluent in English Arabic and Russian, offered good tourist packages to CIS customers. Staff are super friendly! The Indian restaurant is fabulous!

Amazing hotel

Amazing beachside dog friendly property. Great friendly staff especially their Reception staff that always greet you with a smile. Overall a great beachside hotel to stay couple of nights.

Great escape

Hotel was in great location, and have amazing beaches. but what made our staying great was the most welcoming front desk, thanks Mohammed Rajab and Ibrahim for being so nice, professional with a big smile on the face, you made our staying so nice. Highly recommended.

Bad start but ended well

I was about to destroy this hotel in my review due to some issues we had there with a paid event and staff but as soon as I voiced my complaint, the other staff really stepped up to make things right. The manager called me the next day as well to apologize and offer my wife and I a dinner. I’d like to recognize Anu and Sabu for their great service and hospitality as well. Overall, the stay was good. It was dog friendly which we really enjoyed. The hotel was nice and the beach was beautiful. I don’t have children but it was very kid friendly as well.

We had booked a room for four people but since two were kids extra beds were not provided. We opted for the all inclusive, would not recommend this, how ever after we complained the management was very keen on making us happy which was nice. They had a outdoor disco every that was noisy with loud music.

The check in was very good and smooth with AWAIS in the reception. He is great and trying to do his best. Quick check in was appreciated. I didn't meet Mr Bassam.. there's a quick response from the housekeeping and room service better than last times. The only thing the hotel reservation team was not friendly. But overall the hotel is great . And the staff is great. Hope to continue.

Overrated

This hotel no longer meets the standard of a 5-star property. While the staff were fantastic, the building and its amenities are lacking. It feels very dated and is in desperate need of a revamp if it is to continue as a 5-star. We bought the all-inclusive package and it was a major disappointment. We were limited to the buffet for all 3 meals and it was basic at best. The food was recycled from one meal to the next, it was lacking in choice and flavour. We were limited to a small drinks menu of house drinks and the ice-cream was only included for the children only for a few hours during the day. The pool bar was rarely manned which was frustrating. The kids club is just a playroom with no organised activities, leaving children becoming bored in no time.

Pet friendly but that is all.

Not so good experience. The service is below standard,we have to continuousely ask for things over and over. We were 4 people but we get only 2 cups for coffee and 2 bottles of water, booked for 4 people but only received beds for 2 people. Breakfast buffet feels like a warzone with rude guests everywhere,pushing in being rude. Other guests tried to force us from our beach chairs at some point. Seems like an overwhelming influx of Russian speaking guests, who cannot speak a word of English. Really uncomfortable and unwelcome experience. Only good thing was that they are pet friendly, but no pets allowed in restaurants and swimming pool. Shout out however to the Lounge restaurant manager-he was amazing and the food there was excellent.

We liked the beach and the pools. The buffet food was also of good quality. Jeff of reception, Godspower of the bar and Kenneth of the restaurant were all very friendly and gave excellent service. We were disappointed in a few things. The kids pool used to have a sail covering the pool protecting from the sun, but it broke 6months ago and management is not replacing. This protection is very important in the summer for kids. Also the adult pool bar was not functioning. The pool bar at the other pool was working but the attendant had to work in the heat without a working fan. Also he was alone giving him very hard and unpleasant working conditions. Only one bar was showing the football Matches in the afternoon and evening which is for smokers, so it was impossible to see the matches with kids. Generally it seemed the hotel was not doing maintenance and had an ageing feeling. The staff makes this up by giving their best. I would return if they repair the kids pool sail and pool bars, and general aspect gets improved.
