This was definitely a unique and beautiful place to stay. I'm a truck driver and I stay at a different hotel every night. This was one of the best. Very clean, water pressure in shower was great, and a break breakfast too. Weather you are traveling alone or with a family, wonderful place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights as it was reasonable and gave us good proximity to the Roosevelt Library and National Park. It is an old hotel but we had a very nice room that looked newer or updated. The bed was great as was the shower, It was dark and quiet. One of the reasons we picked it was because it also had a lounge that served food and drink. However, the hotel seems significantly understaffed as one gal did all the bartending and food serving. This was clearly once a really terrific place that could use better management or a real make-over.

Parking entrance was rough, needed blacktop repair. Hot tub and pool were closed for maintenance/refill. Carpets felt sticky in our room and tub joints were molded. Pillows were thin and rather lumpy. Desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly

I had interactions with 3 Staff members. No we're that great. The woman at check in acted like we were an inconvenience and should have checked in earlier. The woman at the desk the next morning was rude and a few people commented on the inability to find help in the morning. The breakfast attendant was to busy playing with & reading her hair to keep the mediocre breakfast full. The bar had great food and the mini casino was fun.

Our room was not thoroughly cleaned and the beds were partially unmade. We requested a coffee pot, and it didn't work when we got it. The refrigerator was turned off, so no way to keep our drinks cold. No one was at the desk when we went for help. The bright side - the woman who worked at the breakfast area! She was helpful and caring.

Been staying there for years and they've never replaced anything. It appears that with the competition available for some time now they've been struggling to keep it profitable. Too bad as it's a primo spot. I stay there as I love my dogs too much to leave them. My boy Clyde loved the room.

Looks like the room given to us was not used in a while, a lot of dust on the AC, Table and other areas. The Wall Paper was off from the wall. But our stay was good, comfortable beds, good bathroom space. Wish the amenities were provided better. But we had our own soap etc , so not an issue. OVerall we loved the place. Its close to so many restaurants and staff were very help ful. The place has a pool, please pack your shorts or swim gear. Its very well maintained as well. The place had a gym as well. Since we stayed for one night and mostly wanted it for sleep, we did not use. I would recommend this place for a friend,

The staff were friendly and very helpful when we needed more lighting in our room due to it being very dim. As far as the condition of the hotel it was very dated and needed a lot of attention. The carpet in the room had a long unraveled section and there was rust on the shower head. The spaciousness of the hotel was done for conferences about 30 years ago, but is definitely showing its age and needs refurbishing.

The hotel was on the older side could use some TLC, I can tell it was grand in its younger days. It definitely could have used more lighting in the room. Compared to newer hotels the bathroom was small. The bed was comfortable and the food in the bar/restaurant was good. One issue I didn't care for was during the free breakfast which was ok, but the lady doing the breakfast was touching all the pastries with her bare hands when moving them from one platter to the next.
