"I was fortunate to have a front facing triple room which was huge! The view out of the window over the bay was excellent. There is a lift but it is a very old one and only takes one person at a time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is free, but only on the street and first come... Breakfast was included and fabulous. Evening meal not included and I struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday night. The recommended hotel stopped at 6pm and I ended up in a KFC which would not have been my first choice. That is not a criticism of the hotel, just a fact. "

"The hotel was exactly what we needed. Mac (host) was helpful, breakfast was perfect and the hotel was dog friendly too 🐾 Great outside space too. Minor issue was that the bar was not open (but we knew that when we booked)"

"The Glengower is excellently situated, right on the promenade/beach. It offered a full hot breakfast and the pub itself offers a large and sophisticated menu. Everything we tried over the 3 days we were there was excellent. The parking may be a bit if a problem as the promenade road is very narrow but we found a good spot in the end. The room we had was comfortable tho a little tight.. the staff and service was excellent. We unfortunately did not have a sea view, but I will definitely suggest getting one as the view is excellent. "

"The room was very clean ,I stayed 4 days and there was the option of having the room cleaned every day if I wanted .The staff were friendly.also it was quite and I felt safe . The hotel is also very near the town and the beach .I would definitely stay again ."
