"We spent a few nites here at this lovely cottage. The location is perfect! It’s nestled in the trees and there are even redwoods on the front lawn! The neighborhood is super quiet and having parking was a big plus. We were about a 10 minute ride to the larkspur ferry (that got us right into the city without the parking or traffic) you are also close enough to the coast (Muir woods, Muir beach, mount tam etc) Inside the cottage- was great! It’s a tiny space good for one or 2 travelers. The bed was king size and very comfortable the shower was soothing after a long day of outdoor play and having a W/D was a big plus. There is even a small balcony to enjoy morning coffee while watching the neighborhood deer and listening to the birds. Rusty keeps her cottage in tip-top shape and was quick to respond to any questions. It’s was a good place to stay-it felt like home. Clean quiet and comfortable"

"Staff was wonderful. Wine and cheese was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. In our building, there was no artwork on the hallway walls, elevator was bland tan, but that should not sway you because the rooms were beautiful. One electrical outlet didn't work but there were plenty of other accessable outlets. Parking was great, covered. Location for walking around Mill Valley and access to Muir Woods was perfect."

"Excellent value for money. The studio is well-appointed with everything you need - full kitchen, coffee maker and French press, good linens, comfortable bed, great TV, and an amazing view over Mill Valley. Very easy to park and also good access to walking trails (uphill, but good exercise!). Host was very communicative and also respected privacy."

"Great host … good communicator and very accommodating to our requests. Only issues are the unit was a little small, not really walking distance to downtown, and the unit is located in a family’s backyard so not completely private. Not major problems to be sure."

"This studio cottage was in a quiet, yet convenient location for accessing SF and the ammenities along Hwy 1 in Marin. Despite being in the backyard, we never saw anyone in the main house -- the garden was very nice and pleasant to relax in. The indoor space was modern and clean. Definitely would recommend if you want to have easy access to Marin nature and SF. The only downside we had was the lack of a dishwasher -- since we cooked in a lot, it required a lot of scrubbing."
