"The breakfast was good with a big selection of food on offer. Room was clean, but the shower was extremely small & no hot water from the sink tap. No tea & coffee making facilities in the room , but we did manage to get a kettle to use. Staff were dismissive of any question we had. Overall an ok experience, but nothing outstanding."

"Please note that most of the hotels in Norway do not have air conditioning. And most don’t even have ventilation systems, and just rely on opening the window for air. This works if the streets below the rooms are quiet, otherwise, it will be good for the hotels to put a statement on their webpages to let guests know before hand that some rooms may be noisy when the windows are opened. Guests from overseas may have jet lagged and want to sleep early! Thon Hotel Spectrum is one such hotel and has rooms facing busy streets below which is noisy until 11pm."

"Hotel was short staff due to a hotel worker’s strike. Room cleaning was done upon request and was delayed. Otherwise, great location for tourist destinations in Oslo. "
