It is very well equipped and decorated.We stayed there in August, when temperatures were high, and we really appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom. We couldn't park our car in the courtyard because the space was too small, but it was easy to find free parking spaces in the surrounding streets.We were warmly welcomed by Frank. As we know the area well and were there for a family reunion, we didn't need to ask him for sightseeing advice, but I'm sure he would have been happy to help.We will definitely book this rental again for future stays in Barr."

"Perfectly charming little gîte for a single or couple. Kitchen had some great basics stocked and was well equipped to cook. Ships ladder to the bedroom wouldn’t be suitable for many older people. Great location for walking into the village. Recommend bringing or renting a car to really be able to explore the beautiful villages and countryside in the Alsace region. "

"Didn't expect the room to be so clean, spacious, and newly renovated given the historical building, but you have the best of both worlds. Great value for money. Stayed here as hotels so expensive in Strasbourg so rented a car and fit in a day of seeing some of the smaller towns on a day trip to Colmar. Beautiful! Staff were great, too. "
