"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful beach house, and Diane was a phenomenal host! From start to finish, this vacation was pure perfection, and we cannot recommend this property enough to future renters.What We Loved About the House* Amazing Beach Proximity: You truly cannot beat this location. "Very pleased! We got off to a bumpy start with check in because we came in late (10pm). The office closes at 3pm so we weren't sure what to do. They leave your check in package with the guard at the gate (when you get off the ferry). The ferry does stop running at 10pm (Monday-Thursday) 11pm Friday and 12pm Saturday (starts at 630am every day). The house doesn't have many reviews so I wanted to give it a good one (the first time I've ever written a review). Our stay was excellent. Everyone was very nice. We ate dinner every day at the Rum Bay restaurant and the food was very good (with good portion sizes). The house was spotless!, pretty and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and great showers (I'll miss the water pressure). The beach is right there just over beautiful dunes. We didn't find left over beach floats/playthings so bring those with you. The water was warm and clear and no heavy grass/seaweed. I found lots of sand dollars. I highly recommend this property and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!"

Enchanted Private Island Oasis Steps To Beach, Tropical Yard & Charm Filled Home

"“Paradise Cottage” and its host, Jay and Carrie, are wonderful. It’s not hard to find the value of staying in a one story house on a remote island where every other house is elevated several feet and your pet has a “nature call” at midnight. The house was very clean and ready to go when we arrived “on island”. There was even a welcome basket filled with essential goodies (chips, salsa, crackers and cheese, sweet bites) that were very appreciated after the drive and ferry ride to Palm Island, starting off and setting the tone for a relaxing time, with an inviting pool and out back dock to enjoy the evening sunset.There are multiple beach access points nearby, a short walk or golf cart ride away. The beach was delightful, soft sand, turtle nests and plenty of shells to admire. Missing, people! Walks along the beach and surf were peaceful and the area was filled with a soundtrack of mild waves breaking close to the shore.Jay and Carrie were available when needed, very helpful and responsive. The house included all items needed for our stay, when the groceries we purchased for our stay ran out, a quick trip “off island” to Publix a mile or so away offered a solution. Also located “on island”, the Palm Island Resort’s two restaurants included multiple meal and snack options, recommend the toasted coconut milk shake from “Coconuts”.Paradise Cottage is a great place unplug and reset. Very comfortable, convenient to all the island has to offer. 5 stars!"

"The unit was clean and the Hot tube was amazing! The stay was enjoyable and very relaxing! I was in a down stairs unit so there was some noise with heavy footed people above me but it was a great place.Suggest that maybe more cooking pots for making dinner."
