"Very disappointing stay.When i reached i informed them that i want to upgrade to bigger room because i have 1 more guest with me,so they said it is already full.Later the manager informed that they can upgrade to room with private pool and they will add 1 more single bed (initially no available room so ot means they alraedy changed my room). i was surprised that the pool is not functionning for more than 1 month and totally dirty. "I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. "The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency."

"Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet.
