Amazing location right on Dikwella Beach

Killer location, and a perfectly nice, if basic, hotel right on Dikwella Beach. Clean, comfortable, and unfussy rooms, most with views of the ocean, which is just across the street. Not much in the way of a restaurant, but plenty of local options right on its doorstep. Lovely pool. Nice staff, if a little absentee. So-so WiFi.

It felt like no one had stayed in this hotel for years and we were the only guests. There were SO many bugs and it was just a very weird experience. We left 2 days early.

Deceiving photos showing the property as being at the beach front, In fact there is a very busy road in front and you step straight on it through the gates (not the gated walkway but car’s gate). This place should never be called a resort it is a 2 star hotel at best. All toilets are very smelly and the family suite only has on a/c for 2 sizeable and very dated rooms. Avoid unless desperate and no other properties are available in the area.

Best value for money!

Beautiful location, clean rooms, seaview and beachview from the room and balcony. Best value for money, and extremely friendly staff. They arranget the best prices on the beach for scooter rental, and they reduced the price for brekfast by 90%. I did encounter a broken window that wouldnt close. But their extremely handy staff fixed in in a minute, with a big smile on their face! The hotel is suitable for both families, couples and friends. I really want to come back here.

Appalling service from staff. I confirmed that I wished to stay another night and was told the price and it was no problem. I tried to pay but was told to pay at checkout. Then in the morning they refused this saying as I had not paid yet they did not need to honour this. Ants all through the room and dirty sheets!

Heel vriendelijk personeel Kamer is wat gedateerd maar prima, heerlijk balkon met uitzicht op zee. Enige minpunt is douchen in het bad wat van te voren niet bekend gemaakt was en de laatste drie dagen geen warm water.

L'horreur a fuir. NUL😡😡. Cela fait 35 ans que je dors a l'hôtel pour le travail, et là c'est le pire.. Hôtel a l'abandon, aucun entretien. Nous avons eu un invasion de fourmis dans la SDB et dans le lit, odeur d'égout très fortes dans la SDB. Normal la pipe du WC fuit, il y a de l'eau qui sort de la pipe du WC. Quelques réparations on été faites au silicone autour de la pipe en plastique, et encore du silicone. Maintenant odeur d'égout+ odeur de silicone + odeur de désinfectant a fourmis, super pour dormir 😠 Des rous partout dans le carrelage, sale. Nous avons trouvé en rentrant dans la chambre des insectes morts un peu partout, ils sont venus nettoyer.. Les commums sont pitoyables, sales, des toiles d'araignées, toute est abîmé, vétusté. Personnes n'ose petit déjeuner ou manger a la salle principale. Mon drap Etat tâche de sang (mais propre). C'est serviettes de piscine sont tâches. Les transats en bois délabrés, cassés sans cousins. Seul point positif, la piscine en bon état et l'emplacement en face de la superbe plage avec des paillotes sympas pour le petit déjeuner, et pas loin a pied de la plage de Kiriketiya. Cela mériterait un remboursement sur les 3 nuits passées. A FUIR. Dommage car l'hôtel pourrait être super si il était entretenu..😠😠

BO INTE HÄR.

Hotellet är inte så som det ser ut på bilder. Det är nedgånget och slitet. Det var fullt med insikter på rummet, kröp myror i sängen. Vi sa till och önskade ett nytt rum eller pengarna tillbaka. Kollade på ett nytt rum och där var det kackerlackor i badrummet. Vi checkade ut efter första natten av tre bokade, fick ingen återbetalning. Poolen är ok men solsängarna är slitna och det finns ingen dyna att ligga på. Det står skyltar överallt om att hotellet inte ansvarar för stöld av värdesaker vid städning av rummet, de ansvarar ej för missfärgning av kläder som lämnats till tvätt, du ska betala om något går sönder etc. Bara väldigt speciellt och kändes väldigt otryggt.

Group holidays in March 2019

Positives: + ocean view + big and clean swimming pool + spacious rooms with balconies + beach front location Negatives: - unfriendly management - very slow service in restaurant (unable to serve group of 12) - food overpriced 2 times to compare to its quality and portion size - need maintenance and cleaning everywhere - do heavy repairs in some rooms while others are occupied - sewage runoff in bathrooms - no benches in room to put luggage on, must leave it on the floor, later there were ants in - add 15% VAT and 10% service charges above prices mentioned in menu, without any pre-notices I regret my choice to stay in this hotel, especially with larger group.

Very Disappointed!!

This hotel has a lot going for it but under current management it definitely won’t succeed. The manager just walks around, never actually doing anything & if asked something never really knew the answer It has a lovely looking bathroom but the water pressure is so bad it took almost an hour to half full the bath......then I gave up. They advertise a “mini bar” there’s NO mini bar, there is a small fridge & tea & coffee making facilities. Actually I don’t recall the restaurant being licensed either. The $6USD breakfast ( that you have to order on checkin) is a joke, 3 tiny chipolatas, 3 potato wedges, 2 small tomato slices, eggs didn’t even half full the plate. Did get toast & fruit but it’s an absolute rip off. The pool closes at 7pm, there is a beach opposite which you can swim at all day but at dark ( when it’s still 30 plus degrees) you can only look at the pool because it’s closed. The beach is right out the front of the hotel it’s a nice beach but there is a dirty, smelly patch of water on the sand ( drain?) that you have to walk past. There are sun loungers on the beach outside the hotel ( but aren’t operated by the hotel) so you have to pay to use them) a hotel in this price range should provide them. The internet is appalling, it took almost 3 hours on our arrival to get a connection & that kept dropping out. Our entire stay was a complete disappointment. After one night we walked 500m or so down the beach where we luckily found the “Madu Friendly Villa “

Сменив 5 отелей .....Раннего заселения не было Отель новый белый с 3 этажа великолепный вид В номере всё новое Уборка только по запросу Завтрак по меню как и ужин ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО КАЖДЫЙ РАЗ повторяйте без специй и без перца (и это не гарантируется) приготовленная еда вполне хорошая Персонал очень старается и во всем помогает хоть недавно сформирован.Нам в номер поставили отдельный роутер ( с интернетом в отеле беда) С бассейном повнимательнее с фильтром что не так За 10 дней прибывания добавляли бумагу 3 кусочка мыла 1 бут воды И ВСЁЁЁЁ . купаться лучше ходить в сторону от отеля так как рядом слив.На некоторые моменты можно не обращать за счет близости воды вида на закат
