"Quiet, quaint, comfortable. Steps off a busy avenue you can hear birds and waterfalls. The "comfort" room was charming and had an onsen (soaking tub) large enough for two. "This is THE hotel to stay in Beijing for a balance of quality, service, location and basic amenities (breakfast). I thought my stay there was exceptional. Is it a 5 star world class luxury hotel experience? for the staff I'd say yes, but the hotel is quite good nevertheless. I'd stay here again. Gerome was an excellent help during my stay, and quite accommodating. The ladies at the reception did a great job as well. Just keep in mind for some tours and didi (chinese uber) the pickup is a walk down to the main street, which is an easy 3-4 minute walk. But the trade off is the hotel is in a quiet little street."
