"Inn at Truckee is not a luxury hotel but it’s perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights. Staff is friendly, breakfast is pre-made and individually wrapped items to microwave, room was quiet, and beds comfortable. I’d stay here again."

"Tor was WONDERFUL to work with on booking and was available if I had any questions. Check-in & check-out details were clear, as well as what to expect on property. We stayed for 2 nights in June, but I imagine this property would be stunning in the winter as well. Quick access to 80 just across the highway or you can take the short, pretty drive along Donner lake into Truckee. The property itself was easily accessible with ample parking. However, it wasn't busy while we were there. View was the BEST! Loved having coffee and watching paddle boarders and boats on the lake. Comfortable for 4 adults, but would be fun for a fam - upstairs tv area & games. As Tor mentions, you may want to bring additional toilet trees, ie. soap, shampoo, etc. or extra tp and paper towels if you have a longer stay. If you do forget anything, there is a small store directly across the street that has basic essentials, snacks, beer & wine. We enjoyed the chaise lounges that the HOA provides just below the unit on the sand. The private beach is just one step to take a dip in the water. Tor mentioned that he doesn't supply beach towels or chairs, so you may want to bring your own, especially if you stay July-August, which can be busy times. My friend and I planned to go into Truckee for dinner when we arrived, but we decided to go to "The Pub at Donner Lake", which is just a short walk down the highway with great food and full bar. Service was great! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! TY, TOR!"

"We loved this property! The owner was amazing - very organized and communicated everything we needed to know. The property itself was exactly what we wanted in a cabin on the lake. The dock was great to fish off of and we were able to use our own paddle board and kayak with ease. Our four kids loved the pool table and having their own space on the ground level. The views were amazing and the lake was beautiful and the perfect backdrop for morning coffee. We will definitely be back!"

"The house was clean and the host friendly. He was hard to get hold of at first, and the website was somewhat impenetrable. Once we made contact, though, he was great.The only real issue was the car noise from the road, which was pretty constant throughout the day. Also, very close to neighbors.Otherwise, it was a good house at a decent price."
