"We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at Armada House! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The decor was absolutely fantastic, with so much character and thoughtful design throughout the property. We also had dinner at Aileen’s Restaurant at the nearby Armada Hotel, and the food was amazing! It was the perfect way to end our evening on the west coast of Ireland. "Excellent hotel overlooking the sea. We had a superior ocean view room which didn’t disappoint. Room was luxurious, spacious and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant which again was very good."

It was raining (go figure) and we just got back from eating dinner. The Help asked us if we wanted anything and got us baileys and we spent time by the fire. Very nice. Breakfast was awesome. Was sorry to see the evening help leave and not be there in the morning but Kitty was there to serve breakfast and help with checkout. If you want hustle and bustle and rude waitstaff you’ve gone to the wrong place. We went to the cliffs and Aron island afterwards and wanted to go back but it didn’t fit...

This hotel is right on the main strip of town. Everything was within walking distance. The beach, the pubs, the shops, the restaurants. We had a wonderful stay here. Parking was a bit tight, but we always had a spot. The people were wonderful and very kind. The only drawback was the condition of the building. The floors in our room slanted quite a bit, but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. Two thumbs up.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a portion of our honeymoon. From the start, we loved everything about it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with check in, and then will drawing on a map for us to help us find things to do in Galway. The included breakfast was really good. The West restaurant (upstairs) was a little too fancy for us, so we ended up eating down the street at O'Grady's on the Pier. It was amazing seafood. The other restaurant on site is really good for drinks and more...

This was the BEST property in Ireland. I have stayed everywhere in the country and hands down trumps Doonbeg is the ONLY SAFE RESORT full of traditional IRISHNESS! I highly recommend this incredible resort to EVERYONE who comes to Ireland. If you’re looking for 12 star treatment, IRELAND, beauty, fun and safety this is the place to stay. The service is unmatched and the warm happy feeling you feel there is amazing. It’s so pleasant. The rest of Ireland is TRASH because of the government and...

Nice hotel right on Galway Bay. I visited in late September but would be lovely in summer. Spacious room, good breakfast. Spa services available but I didn’t use them. About 1.5 miles / 25 minute pleasant walk to Galway town center. Large hotel that seems to be used for conferences and meeting point for larger tour groups.

Reception staff are welcoming and professional, and very helpful. They excel at making you feel they are there to make your stay better: transportation, directions, shopping, sightseeing suggestions, etched. The best of the last 10 hotels I've stayed in this summer.
The dining room is large and open, looking out to the hills of Ennis. The poached salmon was so good I ordered it two nights in a row. And the service was lovely.
Room is clean, everything in working order. I had laundry...
