"Running a bed and breakfast is not easy. It's a lifestyle and an artform. Amy and Mark have mastered this completely and are true artists. The place was comfortable, well designed, clean and very classy. Breakfast on the patio was magnificent. Different entrees were served each day, one more delicious than the previous. The patio was a peaceful way to start the morning.
Their advice on where to eat was spot on. Our four days in Maine was a remarkable vacation, and the memories will last through the years.
Thank you Amy and Mark for your hospitality, your skills in making us feel welcome, and your outstanding breakfasts. We will be back."
Captain's House 2BR Apartment. Walk to Everything!
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and interesting layout in this historic house. It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. Since we were still in the area, he left them on the porch for us to retrieve, which we appreciated. "
Cozy home on Georgetown Island off the coast of Maine
10/10 Excellent
"House was big, nice, in great shape and clean. Georgetown doesn’t have much going on, but there are numerous nice small towns to visit within 15-30 minute drive. A little farther gets you to Portland and Freeport. Acadia is a 3 hour drive, but worth it. House itself is secluded in the woods, nice hot tub. "
