Awesome location and friendly, helpful staff!

A beautifully built property with the decoration of a fine home. Beautiful antiques, great sitting areas, first class breakfast. A great stop.

This is such a beautiful place. We received a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. We felt as if we were old friends being welcomed into this Quinta. Rodrigo and his staff have created an exceptional environment. The location is perfect. Close to all the sights of the Douro Valley but far enough to feel like you are out of the tourist zone. The views from the patio/pool area are gorgeous. We had the terrace room and it was very nice. Super comfy bed, quality linens and towels. The breakfast...

Hosts went out of their way to accommodate the guests. Friendly staff. Superb dinner. Breakfast with large variety. Excellent house wines.

I can’t say enough good things about staying at Canto de Luz. Hannah, Susana, McKenzie, and everyone there were so kind, warm, and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was perfect- close to restaurants and sites but far away enough to also be relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and felt like eating a homecooked meal at home. Susana and Hannah took their time to make sure our check-in went smoothly through email and in-person when we...

Gorgeous unique accommodation in quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything we wanted to do.

We love the place all around, the staff was incredible, Martin and Bruno were so efficient and always trying to help us, and make it easier on us.

I enjoyed the personal attention we received from Deuxmecs. This small boutique hotel is in a fantastic location and the owners are super helpful. The rooms are large and airy and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I only stayed one night here — we wish we could have stayed longer! Our comfortable room had a large terrace overlooking the Douro River, there is a nice swimming pool on the property and the views are beautiful! The included breakfast was delicious and substantial, and the dinner we had there was quite good. This is a family-owned place and the owner’s son Paolo, who is the manager, was very welcoming and kind. We would return!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful home. The home is cozy, clean and welcoming. I felt comfortable walking through the home and enjoying the shared areas. The staff member was very welcoming and the check in was quick and painless. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, had a great view of the mountain. We enjoyed the fresh continental breakfast that was provided. We truly had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel to others. I look...

The stay was fantastic. I like the breakfast doggie bag for each room. Nice and modern common area and room.

I like everything about it. Friendly staff and ease with check in process. Clean property and the property is located right in the center with short walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars!

This property clearly has a home touch to it. Very much a bed and breakfast experience. The owner is very attentive to your needs. The only thing we found lacking was a good restaurant nearby.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Quiet. Breakfast was varied and good. Location was very convenient.

Great staff and good location

Decor, staff , breakfast and location were all excellent! Enjoyed everything about the stay.

I had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast they brought to your room every morning was delicious! It was a nice, small boutique hotel. My room was the first one off the lobby so I didn't get to see much else, but from what I saw, the building was beautiful! I had a great view from my room with a balcony.

Great location, beautiful place, comfortable beds, tidy rooms, but what really makes this place stand out is Cesar, who is an amazing host: super friendly, helpful, and available 24/7 for anything you need. 100% recommended, will definitely come back when I visit Porto again.
